Thanks Cherie
Have just added my references to the power point.
Saved it as Final Power Point Cor in the graphic Organiser page under File.
When you open it you have to save it and open it as a power point.
Don't know why it's doing that as it didn't before.
Hope it works okay for everyone.
Added my peer feedback. Wrote a comment but noticed that it was the same as one that was already there so
deleted it. Think I may have messed up the table abit. Sorry.

Hey guys. I feel good about today's presentation, it was unfortunate that you didn't get to talk about our futures aspect Simon but I couldn't believe how the time went. Can you all please try to add relevant references " in text" to the PowerPoint and resave it under a different name ie if Simon does it first then resave and upload it as Sim. The if Bethanie downloads that and saves her copy as SimBeth then if Corinna does her references and downloads it as SimBethCor I will know that it is the final PP presentation and the one I can print to hand in. You will also notice the page for the other group feedback. If you don't feel confident with adding the X to the appropriate box just let me know where you want it and I'll either show you at Uni or just do it- up to you. Adding general comments should be easy enough. Could you also please review our main pages for spelling and grammatical errors. The info off the wiki is more than 1500 words but not too much more so it should be OK.

Hi I will print our wiki pages in colour for presentation (next week when we have to hand in our reflection on the other group). I will put the PP on my stick as well, however we should have access to it off the wiki site. As for the references it would be good just to have the 'in text' references on the slides ( like I have done for my slides).

In the files below I have uploaded our lesson plan please review and modify as you see fit

Thank you Cherie. The colours on the power point and the whole thing look great. Do you want us to add the references onto our actual slide because I did that and now they are gone. I will write them on a piece of paper for tomorow so I know which ones go where. I only made a time of 7pm so that changes wouldn't be happening throughout the night when I had already put the final power point on my memory stick and had printed it out for the presentation. Guess we'll print it out at uni now.
Thanks.

Have just finished loading the new PP. Have put in a references page. Can you all look at the pp and just determine where you should have references for your PP slide we will add them in tomorrow. So The only modifications we require now are for Bethanie to review and modify tonight. We need to have a quick run through tomorrow. Can we all wear black if possible??

Re: Powerpoint by harropia1harropia1, 05 Aug 2008 06:16

Thank you Cherie, I'm sure I could manage it but it would take considerably longer than 5 min.
Thanks to you all while I'm at it, I hope you all agree that some possitive, effective group work has produced a quality product. Great work everybody!
Simon

Simon don't worry about doing the above I will do it tonight, Before 7 pm Corinna :). It will only take about 5 minutes to paste your slides in to the powerpoint and I did make changes to the graphics yesterday PM. I have my school prac today so Iwill get onto it by about 4pm. You will notice I have taken Simons PP off the system

Re: Graphic Organisers by harropia1harropia1, 04 Aug 2008 21:21

Graphic organisers look great Cherie. Do we know if Bethanie has got this above message yet?

Re: Graphic Organisers by CLR1CLR1, 04 Aug 2008 08:30

I'm Sorry Simon. You have done a great job on your part of the power point but you need to down load the file 'ESS Presentation' that Cherie did at 13:27 on 4/8/08 and download your stuff onto there. The power point that you have put up hasn't got my of Cherie's changes on it.
Please reply to let me know that you have got this message.
Thanks
Corinna

Please note the new page on the nav bar. Recording the changing face of student portfolio's. This is basically our presentation in text form and what we will hand in for our assessment. It discusses what happens to our system when we change the practice or method. It is basically a cut and paste of the info you all posted on your own pages. Before we get to the presentation part I will remove these personal pages. Bethanie, your systems stuff will need to go on the systems page I will get to that. Thanks for all of the work you all have done, the research is great!

Hi Bethanie,

The document that you put a link for above requires password access do you have it or can you post the PDF on the files link below ?

Hi I have reworked Bethanies graphics as above and also posted them into the PP

Graphic Organisers by harropia1harropia1, 04 Aug 2008 01:45

Corinna I have tried to relink that portfolio to the actual site we want and it is just not happening and I don't understand why. I talked to a techie friend and he says there is no reason that he can think of microsoft just gets these funny gliches sometimes- yay technology :{. I suggest we actually open up our wiki and open the PowerPoint from it, then we can minimise the PowerPoint and just click on the link in the wiki

Just waiting on your part for the power point to be complete Cherie.
Thanks.

Hi Bethany
I have successfully downloaded the graphics of all three systems onto the power point.
Thank you. They look great.
You've done a lot of work on them.
The only thing on the big system is that you can't really read the writting along the red
arrows. Not sure if you can do anyhting about that though. Might look better up on the big screen at uni.
Will show you on Sunday and you can decide.
Corinna

Simon,

My focus wll be on the method ie ICT verses Piles of paper and inefficiency, Corinna's focus will be on the value of ICT integration and student ownership / involvement and curriculum outcomes achieved and your's is on what it looks like etc. As I looked at your slides I thought you have done that very well. In the scope of the flowsheet Corinna talks about the current DP you talk about current product and I talk about current method and then talk about digital method the Corinna talks about digital and then you talk about digital product. Just a point to note we will be show casing the digital portfolio during the skit. Unless we just play the first bit of it for the skit and then you actually go into it and look at some of the bits as part of your talk???

I did say They can incorporate sound and video as well as animation, voice overs and scanned imaging maybe I need to be a bit more explicit???

Hiya Bethanie,

You always add clarity to my ideas. You think I need to be more explicit here? I did say The components of the Portfolio system includes; tests, awards, certificates, evaluations, pictures and projects with possibly some written student reflections (Weidmer 1998). I will rework this and talk about storage as well Thankyou :)
